I have been working with families for the past 6 years in different jobs and experiences. While I don’t have specialized training in any particular area I have been working with teenagers for the last 5 years. I enjoy working with that population because they are often overlooked. I feel my quiet personality fits well with them by giving them the space to open up and feeling safe to do so. I work from a non-judgmental approach so I can work with those who need it the most. My approach is just to be someone to listen and problem solve which tends to work well with those who feel misunderstood! As a family therapist and someone with a systems view of issues, I hope to improve the system that people are part of to improve overall quality of life. I am an LGBTQ ally and I am very open to those with unique lifestyle choices.  I am also very passionate about providing good support groups to those who are facing difficulties or just need a little extra support.
